Alcohol

Regional Aim: To increase vaccination uptake in pregnancy to 90% uptake by 2020 and to 95% uptake by 2025.

Training

All maternity staff should undertake Alcohol Brief Intervention (ABI) training annually and Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) training every three years.

The LMS recommends that this should be an initial two hour, face to face training session that will be provided in-house.  A refresher/electronic version of this is available on the PowerPoint linked below.
