Your Pelvic Health
It is important to gradually return to physical activity after you have given birth. Being physically active helps to improve sleep, mood and fitness, and can help women return to their pre-pregnancy weight. The Chief Medical Officer’s Guidelines are outlined in the infographic below. Women should gradually aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity activity per week as well as including pelvic floor and strengthening exercises.
