WHERE ARE WE NOW?
Vaccination uptake, provision and accessibility varies across the North East and North Cumbria depending on where the maternity service is located and also local arrangements by the local authority and NHS partners.
We receive COVID-19 vaccination data on a weekly basis and on the 26 July 2022 there were 23,506 women who were pregnant and of those 76.9% had received their first dose, 69.7% had received their second does and 58.3% of women eligible for a booster had received it.
